A story in 5 minutes #2So as some of you may know I've been trying to get the ball rolling on a side project called "A story in five minutes". what it is, is a short video (roughly five minutes of course) of a certain individual dealing with a random facet of life. Throughout the five minutes the character notices, discovers or becomes something they may not have quite seen coming from the beginning of the story. I haven't quite found the musical accompaniment for this one but the lyrics came to mind and I said why not? Without further adieu (was going to spell check adieu but I spelled it right. Good day.) One thing ugly and two things the same One problem at home and 99 in the game I see a factory here full of broken things But I can turn around to see trees and not smoke with lames This one isn't about everything that don't make me happy Or sit around crying and rhyming about what makes us sappy In fact I noticed a lot of good lately And I'm okay with giving up things that ain't me I'll try a little harder and make something work And if I fail a hundred times at least my "go" ain't hurt. And I'm dreaming.... So dream on... P.S While writing this one the song "Back to the topic" -J.Cole was playing in my head sorta. Here's the link if anyone is interested. |

Been making more and more changes to the website since it's been seeing more and more traffic. Since I'm doing something right (duh) I figure I'll keep doing more things until I figure out just what "right" was. If you notice the layout of the site is totally different from before don't be afraid. I mean I wont be able to guide you through it like clippy in Microsoft office but if I can figure out more to this site building who knows. (I will not be as annoying as clippy I promise you with all my heart) So make sure to check the site often and you might find things you like and if not well at least we tried! If I was made for musicAs the title suggests, this is a post regarding some lyrics I came up with (rather on the spot) a while ago. A friend of mine was going to perform and I decided to freestyle. Never really got much feedback since everyone was in their own world but I thought "hell couldn't hurt if I uploaded my musical rantings to my own website. The words I can upload pretty easily but the corresponding music may or may not be available since I don't own well any of it. The first is from a segment I intend to do called "A Story in 5 minutes" "Looking for a thrill" I try to cry but I can't seem to shed a tear I wanna listen but it turns out I can't hear I'd send a message if my writing was clear I look around for you but you YOU just ain't here I try to scream but I can't feel the fear I want something new, would you call that weird I mean excitement I need more than just cash I play rough, get cut, hell even mashed I'm stupid cause one fuck up and I crash I'm also strong so yeah I'll have a blast I'm living life but this shit feels like a task I win,I have fun but its over and flash I'm dangerous now and acting real brash I'm crazy holding life like a stash Last shot it's over and I'm seeing my past Ha but at least I had fun and that's all that I ask -Musical background Dollar and a Dream 3 J.Cole For all those interested I'll add more in the future.
